Brandpulse develops the positioning, the name as well as the visual identity of the new brand. With the name Leonteq, the company expresses its positioning as an independent platform partner for investment services in accordance with its white labeling core strategy. The high technological demands and the innovative capabilities are emphasized with the ending “teq”. The latter is also underlined by the word fragment “Leon” which proverbially symbolizes the power of the lion. The Latin name of the edelweiss (“Leontopodium”) can also be found in the name and emphasizes the origin of the company and the clear commitment to Swiss values.
While the logo developed by Brandpulse symbolizes the network character of the platform and the association with its banking and insurance partners, the orange color represents energy, optimism and dynamics. The brand claim “Swiss Investment Engine” makes a reference to the financial sector: The platform as an “engine” for investment products.
In the course of the renaming process, the subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore and Europe are also renamed to “Leonteq”. The stock exchange code “Leon” is introduced at the SIX Swiss Exchange.
