Global one brand strategy for a private bank

Following EFG International’s acquisition of BSI, Brandpulse positioned the newly created EFG brand, developed a new brand appearance and prepared the worldwide implementation within only four months. With its pitch, Brandpulse prevailed against three international and national agencies.

With the merger of EFG and BSI, the bank now joins forces under the powerful EFG brand and becomes one of the largest Swiss private banks with global presence.

In close cooperation with the client, Brandpulse positions the brand as a private bank with entrepreneurial spirit which offers safety and respectability as a financial partner that thinks and acts in an agile and reliable way. The one-brand strategy developed by Brandpulse is based on the previous name EFG and simultaneously combines the company values as well as the visual identity of both banks in a new and contemporary design.

Besides developing the brand positioning and the brand design concept, Brandpulse was also responsible for comprehensive detailed concepts for the worldwide implementation: From concept development and design of corporate stationery, templates and forms, debit and credit cards, image brochures, product brochures, periodicals and newsletters through corporate and product presentations, sponsoring and event material to website creation, global exterior and interior signage of all locations as well as globally applicable branding guidelines. The new brand appearance is introduced worldwide in the second quarter of 2017.
