Rebranding in the mineral oil segment

Vitalizing a long-established Swiss brand: Founded in 1954 by Gottlieb Duttweiler, Migrol today belongs to the leading Swiss gas station operators as well as importers and distributors of mineral oil. Brandpulse revitalizes the Migrol brand and revises the visual identity in an evolutionary manner. Now the brand presents itself as a modern and contemporary energy provider.

The long-established Swiss brand has eroded over the last years due to its outdated brand appearance. Based on a widely focused brand analysis, Brandpulse creates the brand positioning in cooperation with the client. The logo and the brand’s appearance, the brand communication as well as the architectural design (gas stations, car wash etc.) are rethought in an evolutionary manner.

Simultaneously, Migrol expands the car wash network and brings the facilities up to date. With the sub-brand “Migrol Car Wash”, the offer receives its own character in order to prevail against the competitors. At the same time, however, it is incorporated into the brand environment of Migrol. The “Migrol Car Wash” now has a contemporary visual presence, embodying the value of cleanliness. Brandpulse accompanies the implementation across all of Switzerland.
